Description
Motor Graders (commonly known as Road Graders) are long, highly specialized heavy engineering vehicles used to create flat, level surfaces. Their distinguishing feature is a wide, adjustable horizontal blade—called a moldboard—positioned between the front and rear wheels.
While excavators and pay loaders are built to move massive piles of dirt, a motor grader is built for precision. It is the ultimate machine used during the final phases of earthwork to flatten, angle, and smooth out soil, sand, and brick chips to an exact grade before asphalt or concrete is poured. Without proper grading, roads quickly crack and buckle under heavy traffic.
